In a complex and fast-paced world such as ours, many of us occasionally need help or support to achieve a healthy balance in our lives. It is not unusual for personal problems to have a negative effect on your ability to concentrate on or perform your job. The Kuntz Electroplating Employee Assistance Plan has been established to help you and your family to deal with such problems.
The Employee Assistance Plan is a voluntary, confidential counseling and information service administered by Pace Consultants. The purpose of the program is to help you and your family members with personal problems, pressures and stress before they lead to serious difficulties. “Family members” includes the same people as are covered by our Group Insurance Plan (see the definition of dependants in the Plan booklet). Each employee is entitled to 8 one-hour counseling sessions (note: 1 hour of legal consultation counts as 2 of your sessions) per calendar year. These 8 sessions can be used by you or your family members. Where counseling is ongoing you may request (through your counselor or Pace) that your counseling sessions be extended beyond the 8 sessions at your cost.
Using the Employee Assistance Plan is strictly voluntary and strictly confidential. If it looks like personal problems may be affecting your performance, Human Resources, your Supervisor, your Foreperson and/or an Employee Assistance Representative can provide you with information on the services provided by Pace Consultants. However, the final decision of whether to use the Employee Assistance Plan is yours alone. We are not informed of which employees use the Employee Assistance Plan or the type of counseling that they receive.
Pace Consultants offers a broad range of counseling services relating to personal concerns that may affect your emotional well-being and job performance. The types of counseling services offered include:
